The Rope and Anchor

Just a short stroll from the beautiful Dunham Massey deer park and National Trust estate, The Rope & Anchor is your friendly local country pub with a big heart.

We're the perfect spot after a family adventure through the ancient woodlands, open parkland, and deer trails. Kids love spotting the fallow deer, running through the gardens, and then heading straight to our spacious beer garden where they can play safely in the dedicated children's area and mini fort while you relax with a well-earned drink.

Inside you'll find cosy corners and a crackling fire. Outside there's plenty of room for the whole family (and the dog!) to unwind. We serve proper home-cooked pub classics, great cask ales from JW Lees, and a lovely glass of wine.
